The Meaning
Seven points to the seven churches in Asia Minor described in Revelation. Their messages speak to the Body of Christ, the church, made up of each of us who have Christ living in us. They remind us to examine where we are, remain faithful to God, grow in truth, and allow Him to refine us.
The Oath comes from the Hebrew word shaba, meaning to swear or take an oath. It reflects our commitment to God, to follow Him, live according to His Word, and remain faithful to His calling.
Together, Seven The Oath represents a people called by God, committed to Him, and being refined through His Word.

Pastors
Pastor Heanon Tate
Pastor Heanon Tate has spent more than two decades in ministry, with a passion for teaching God’s Word, developing people, strengthening families, and serving communities. His ministry journey has taken him from South Carolina to Florida and now to North Texas, where he serves as pastor of Seven The Oath alongside his wife, Pastor Nakeesha Tate.
He accepted Christ at an early age and began serving in ministry in South Carolina, where he served in several ministry roles. He attended South Carolina State University on a full athletic scholarship, competing in football and track and field.
In 2002, Pastors Heanon and Nakeesha began a Bible study in their home. As the gathering grew, it developed into Inner Courts Ministries in 2003. Their ministry later continued in Central Florida, where they served families and developed people through ministry, education, and community outreach.
Pastor Heanon’s ministry extends beyond the pulpit. He is a track and athletic development coach, musician, songwriter, and music producer who has produced multiple albums. He has also worked in television and film and is the host of A Truth Worth Living, a podcast exploring faith, truth, culture, and everyday life.
At the heart of Pastor Heanon’s ministry is a commitment to the truth of God’s Word. He is passionate about teaching Scripture in a way that helps people understand its meaning, context, and deeper concepts, not simply knowing what the Bible says, but understanding how its truth applies to their lives. Together, Pastors Heanon and Nakeesha desire to see people grow in their faith, develop in their understanding of God’s Word, and become equipped to walk confidently in what God has called them to do.
